Experts, teachers, students and public figures in universities and colleges:

The Asia-pacific College Students mathematical Contest in Modeling is held once a year, this year is the tenth, this contest will be held in late November 2020, a good question is one of the keys to the success of this activity.

The 2020 Asia-pacific College Students Mathematical Contest in Modeling (hereinafter referred to as the Contest) is a subject competition for college Students in the Asia-Pacific region sponsored by Beijing Image and Graphics Society. The contest is organized by the Organizing Committee of the Asia-Pacific College Students Mathematical Contest in Modeling.

In order to further expand the idea of proposition, collect materials for the contest and improve the level of the contest, all experts, teachers, students and people in the community who are interested in the proposition of the contest and can provide questions or materials for the contest are welcome to actively provide questions for the contest.

Source of material:

According to the rules of the competition, the competition topics generally come from engineering technology, computer, artificial intelligence, image graphics and other aspects, after appropriate simplification, processing of practical problems.

If you encounter difficult or unsolved problems in teaching, scientific research or work, please send us your mathematical modeling problems after sorting them out.

The problems presented need to be able to be condensed into mathematical models and solved using mathematical tools.

Requirements for match materials:

It can include problem background, reference resources, data (data sources can be pointed out and collected by students themselves), and specific problems that can be solved by mathematical models.

Either English or Chinese version is acceptable, preferably in English.

The competition requires only that the participants have taken mathematics courses from ordinary institutions of higher learning. It does not require any advanced specialized knowledge, but there is plenty of room for the participants (no more than three students in a team) to give full play to their intelligence and creativity within four days.

Because the competition allows access to a variety of sources, including the Internet, the answers to the questions cannot be found directly in published literature.
